What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a web clique for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, characters, etc. to come together to create a large listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject, which in this case is Bakura Ryou from Yu-Gi-Oh! It lists a fan's name, country that they are from, email address, and their website (if they have one). Visit the animefanlistings.org for more information.

Why Yami no Malik & Yami no Bakura?

Well one reason is because these two characters are two of my 4 most fav. bishonens. And I'd say they make an very interesting pair; two evil psychotic "yamis". And might I add they're sexy too. I know that neither of them are submissive, but that's what makes them interesting. ^_~ Of course this relationship doesn't have to be shounen-ai or yaoi if you don't want it to be. It is after all mostly fanon based.

Who is Yami no Bakura?

He is the 3000 year old spirit of the Sennen (Millenium) Ring that inhabits the teenage body of Bakura Ryou. He has white spiky hair, brown eyes, and pale skin (but not in his past life). His appearance makes him look pretty dangerous, especially his smirks, grins, and manical laughter. He considered to be evil and psychotic but not as much as Yami no Malik.

Yami no Bakura is bent on getting revenge against Yami no Yuugi (aka the Pharaoh) and obtaining/stealing all seven of the sennen items to rule the world. He often takes over the body of his host and impersonates him in order to accomplish that. His deck is an occult deck, mainly composed of spirits and ghouls.

In his past life, he was a tomb robber that was known as the Thief King (Tou-zouku-ou). When he was a child, his village was ordered to be slaughtered as a sacrifice to create the sennen items. Since then, he has been bent on getting vengeance against the Pharaoh and on obtaining all seven sennen items, which should rightfully belong to him. He is an antagonist in the manga/anime because of his goals and actions.

Who is Yami no Malik?

Yami no Malik (Mariku) is otherwise known as the darker personality of Ishtar Malik (Marik) who is evil and pyschotic. He was born from Malik's anger and hatred when the boy was about 10 or 12, technically making him about 4-6 years old in a teen's body. He is bent on beating the pharaoh (aka Yami no Yuugi) and obtaining the sennen puzzle along with the three Egyptian god cards in order to take over the world (or rather destroy it I believe).

He is not really a "yami" in the terms of the Yuugioh definition, meaning he is not an anicent Egyptian spirit and he did not reside in the Sennen Rod. However, the Japanese word "yami" means darkness/dark; therefore, the fact that he is the dark side of Malik, makes him Yami no Malik.
